Mohammed Krishan

          Mohammed Abdelkader Krishan is a prominent member of RIYADA Legal Group and is considered one of the leading experts in criminal cases in Jordan. He possesses extensive experience spanning decades in this field, having held several significant judicial and administrative positions that reflect his specialization in criminal law.

          Krishan served as a member of the Senate, where he was part of the Legal Committee and the Population Committee. He also held the position of Chief Judge of the Income Tax Appeals Committee, worked as a First Instance Judge in Amman, and served as the Head of the Anti-Corruption Commission in the Ministry of Justice. Additionally, he held the roles of Public Prosecutor in Amman and Ma’an, as well as Public Prosecutor and Magistrate Judge in Aqaba.

          Krishan is an active lawyer registered with the Jordanian Bar Association and is also specialized in civil cases and arbitration. He has actively contributed to supporting the rights of lawyers and enhancing the profession in the field of criminal cases. He also served as the President of the Retired Judges Club, reflecting his ongoing commitment to serving his colleagues in the legal field.

          Krishan participated in the drafting of many important laws related to criminal and social issues, such as the Political Parties Law, the Press and Publications Law, the Independence of the Judiciary Law, the Social Security Law, the Narcotics Law, the Independent Election Commission Law, the Constitutional Court Law, and the Landlords and Tenants Law. These contributions reflect his profound understanding of legal and social issues.

         In addition to his professional achievements, Krishan is involved in charitable work, having served as Vice President of the Ma’an Charity Association and Treasurer of the Ma’an Cultural Club, which underscores his commitment to promoting justice and community service. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from the University of Damascus.
